Therapy for young adults
Life After College Graduation
College graduation is a big milestone and accomplishment. It brings with it many hopes and fears about the future as well as questions about who you are and what do you want for your life. Many people in their twenties feel excitement, stress, and uncertainty during this period of transition in their lives. You may feel overwhelmed by all the choices you face or confused about what direction you want to take. You may also feel alone now that you are on your own, with new responsibilities and freedom.
Are you struggling with:
Choices about the future
Career decisions
How to balance work and social life
Dating
Partying too much
Feeling lost
If so, therapy can be a good way to help you navigate the challenges you face in life after college graduation.
Starting Therapy
Therapy is very different than talking to a friend about your problems. I have worked with hundreds of young adults to help them live the life they want for themselves. Clients have said that therapy has helped them to gain a better perspective on their struggles and identify and change unhealthy patterns in their lives. If you are interested in seeing if we might be a fit, please give me a call. After speaking on the phone, if it seems that therapy may be beneficial to you, you will meet with me for an initial consultation to further discuss your situation, find out whether you feel comfortable working with me, and decide whether therapy can appropriately meet your needs.
Please feel free to contact me to set up a phone consultation or office appointment.
